The links below open product pages on downloads.quickbooks.com, Intuit’s official US download portal. Select your product and year, then click the green Download button on Intuit’s page to get the installer.
If you are unsure which edition or year you own, begin at the main QuickBooks Desktop download portal and choose your country, product, and version.
Before You Download
United States editions only
These links are for United States editions. A company file created with another country edition may require a different installer.
Confirm the country edition of your QuickBooks product and company file before downloading or installing anything.
- Confirm the exact QuickBooks product and year you are licensed to use.
- Have your license number and product number ready. Downloading the installer does not include a license.
- Back up your QuickBooks company file before reinstalling or upgrading the software.
Check Windows 11 Compatibility Before You Download
If you use Windows 11, confirm that your QuickBooks year is supported before downloading or reinstalling it. Mac users can skip this section.
QuickBooks Desktop 2024 / Enterprise 24.0 and newer
Fully optimized and supported for a native 64-bit installation of Windows 11.
QuickBooks Desktop 2023 / Enterprise 23.0
Fully compatible with 64-bit Windows 11.
QuickBooks Desktop 2022, Release R3 or later
Officially supports Windows 11.
QuickBooks Desktop 2021 and earlier — not officially supported
These editions were built for Windows 10 or earlier and are not officially supported by Intuit on Windows 11.
An older version may still install and run, but it can experience unresolved bugs, PDF or printing errors, multi-user and network problems, or security risks. Downloading the installer does not make an unsupported release compatible with Windows 11.

Enterprise uses different version numbers: Enterprise 24.0 corresponds to the 2024 release, 23.0 to 2023, and 22.0 to 2022.

After the Download
On the Intuit product page, click the green Download button and save the installer somewhere you can find it. After installation, return to the same page and choose Get the latest updates to install the newest maintenance release for your version.
You will still need the matching license and product number to activate QuickBooks. Sign in to Intuit’s Customer Account Management Portal to review products registered to your account.
Avoid unofficial installers
